The Wyoming County Cultural Center will be hosting a special exhibit. See recently acquired documents from the collections of the Wyoming County Historical Society separating Wyoming County as its own entity from Luzerne County in 1842, as well as the first authorization allowing an execution for a crime committed in Tunkhannock.  Recently discovered in a private collection in New York state, these documents provide a fascinating glimpse into the early history of our area.  Call the Dietrich at 570-996-1500 for details.
