The death of a loved one cuts to the core or our being. People who are grieving usually feel alone and isolated even when surrounded by loved ones and friends. The Understanding Your Journey Through Grief support group will meet once a week for ten weeks. Led by Laura Hasenzahl, M.A., CGC, the group will study and discuss the book Understanding Your Grief by Alan B. Wilfelt. The book outlines ten
touchstones for finding hope and healing. The goal is to discuss and then process what the author refers to as "wisdom teachings."
