An initiative of the COOLIDGE CORNER THEATRE, with major support from the ALFRED P. SLOAN FOUNDATION.
Production Manager of Chocolates by Leopold, Curt Ross will be introducing the film with a discussion about the science of chocolate making. Chocolates by Leopold offers the finest gourmet chocolates and candies on the market today. Leopold uses fourth generation chocolate recipes to satisfy every chocolate lover’s palate. By 1994, Leopold made his personal dreams a reality by opening his own chocolate factory and store in Binghamton, NY. In 2005, he moved his factory and store from Binghamton to Montrose, PA, where he continues to pursue his passion for chocolate-making.

Following the discussion you will see the delightful film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory follow the story of a young honest boy with a heart of gold, Charlie Bucket. He dreams of getting the chance to meet his idol chocolatier Willy Wonka and seeing the inside of the exceptional and intriguing candy factory. Willy himself will set the stage for the adventure of a lifetime, as he announces that the fortunate boy or girl who comes up with one of out of five rare golden passes hidden in his Wonka Bars, will win a free tour of the factory, and a lifetime supply of chocolate. Charlie finds the last fifth ticket, and gets to set foot in cryptic Willy Wonka's remarkable world of chocolate.
