Jean Maslany: Retrospective II - Meet the Artist Reception

Meet modern abstract artist Jean Maslany, a self-taught Lehigh Valley expressionist, and see her work at the Dietrich Theater in downtown Tunkhannock during this exhibit reception. Her artwork has been featured at the Alternative Gallery, Suhomburg Center in New York and Gallery 415 in her hometown in Catasauqua, PA. Jean was introduced to painting by her mother who became her mentor and inspiration. Painting became natural and helped her deal with childhood trauma. “Art is a passion of mine, I love to feel the paint in my hands & it brings me freedom in each brushstroke.” Her exhibit can be viewed during movie times or by appointment at the Dietrich Theater through March 31, 2023.
