Coup! is a devious class war comedy set during World War I and the 1918 flu epidemic. A mysterious grifter appears on an isolated seaside estate claiming to be a wealthy family's new chef. After being taken in, a contagion descends on the island and the mischievous cook rouses his fellow staff to rebel and take over the mansion. The servant is now the master and what follows escalates into full out class warfare.
