At the Dietrich Theater in downtown Tunkhannock
Saturday, February 15 at 10:30 a.m.
Presenter: Bob Astegher
Admission: Free
Local resident Bob Astegher will share his 42 years of experience practicing the art of falconry in this free presentation. During the program, Bob’s wife, Julie, will ask him a variety of questions about his journey into falconry – such as how he became interested; tools of his trade; the process of capturing, training, hunting with and releasing a bird of prey. He will also provide an opportunity for the audience to ask their own questions and meet his current hunting companion – a red-tailed hawk “Rita” that he plans to bring with him. Bob will also share stories about his work with the Delaware Valley Raptor Center. Tickets available by calling 570-836-1022 x3 and at the theater’s ticket booth.
