Our next National Theatre Live performance will be :
                                " AMADEUS"
Sunday, February 26 at 2 p.m. and Sunday, March 12 at 2 p.m.

Lucian Msamati (Luther, Game of Thrones) plays Salieri in Peter Shaffer's iconic play, and with live orchestral accompaniment by South-bank Sinfonia. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a rowdy young prodigy, arrives in Vienna, the music capital of the world - and he's determined to make a splash. Awestruck by his genius, court composer Antonio Salieri has the power to promote his talent or destroy his name. Seized by obsessive jealousy he begins a war with Mozart, with music, and ultimately, with God. After winning multiple Olivier and Tony Awards when it premiered at the National Theatre in 1979, Amadeus was adapted into an Academy Award-winning film.

The Dietrich Theater is delighted to announce that Larry Vojtko
of WVIA  will host at very special "Pre-Show Presentation" only Feb. 26 at 1:45pm  before the screening of the performance. Larry will
talk about Mozart and Salieri, providing insight into their music and
relationship. There will even be some prize drawings from WVIA.
